I am pleased to introduce our inaugural e-Newsletter – what we believe is an effective, to the point communication of what is happening in the world of Mazda!

So far 2009 has been a great year for Hornsby Mazda – a period when trusted brands have excelled as buyers move to logical purchase options. We believe Mazda is the benchmark in terms of value, reliability, practicality and resale – all packaged in cars that are fresh, exciting and great to drive!

The outlook is great – the new Mazda3 launched in April of this year has elevated the model to the No.1 Selling car in our area and we launch new Mazda CX-7 and CX-9 in the coming weeks.

We have embarked on a costly but hopefully rewarding program of updating our database. Our goal is “electronic communication” – more convenient, efficient and far less wastage.

We will start work on new Mazda Facilities in the coming months. We will include an update in our next e-Newsletter.

Improved Communication from Hornsby Mazda

Earlier this year we made the decision to invest big $$ updating our Customer Database – over 100,000 records created over many decades in business.

Our intention is to send every possible communication electronically – Service Reminder Letters, Special Promotions, Invitations to Dealership Events and of course our e-newsletter. Naturally we will continue to mail customers if they prefer.

The benefits are significant – less mail jamming up letter boxes, the opportunity for customers to quickly scan through information on a screen, ability to book a service by clicking on a prompt plus significant reduction in paper wastage – we send out close to 50,000 letters annually.

New Mazda CX-7 arriving late September

This is exciting news – the SUV that broke away from the traditional ‘boxy’ styling of our competitors and added “Zoom- Zoom” performance.This is the first major update of this incredible SUV. New interior & exterior styling, more models and more features.

The range will be extended to include a Front Wheel Drive 2.5 Litre non Turbo Charged 4 Cylinder that will be great on fuel and be exceptionally well priced. We expect this variant to double the sales of the existing range.

Mazda are also launching a Turbo Diesel CX-7 – the same award winning Turbo Diesel engine now available in the Award winning Mazda 6 range.

The Direct Injection Petrol Turbo range is enhanced with “real world” reductions in fuel consumption and significantly more features including Satellite Navigation and Voice Activated Blue Tooth on the Luxury model.

Hornsby Mazda Owners Nights

Hornsby Mazda “Owners Nights” are a great new initiative we have introduced – we just ran our second evening late in August and the feedback on the night was very positive.

The evenings are dedicated to answering all the questions you would like to ask and offer useful information on vehicle servicing and safety. They run for about 90 minutes and include demonstrations of the on-line Mazda MMDS Diagnostic system that is capable of downloading the latest software upgrades into your Mazda. They also covering everything from jump starting your vehicle safely to how to change a tyre.

As well as being a very informative evening it is a great way to meet the team who look after you each time your vehicle is in for a service.
