| Mazda CX-9 2WD | ||||||||||||
Mazda has just released a minor update on the sophisticated Mazda CX-9 range – most notable is the introduction of the 2WD variant at a substantial saving compared with the AWD range.We sent Christian Fischer, one of long serving team members out for a drive to get his first impressions. The report back was excellent – Christian rated the car highly with little or no difference to the AWD models - the vehicle possibly felt a little more nimble and had quicker initial acceleration thanks to losing close to 100 kilograms of weight.

| Winter Motoring Tips | ||||||||||||
Now that we are right in the middle of winter, most people start thinking about the coolant in their radiator, especially if you are going to the snow.Every new Mazda since 2008 comes with long life coolant which lasts 4 years or 80,000 km, prior to that the life span was 2 years 40,000 km.Before travelling anywhere, let alone the snow you should always do a quick check under the bonnet looking for any signs of fluid leaks and check your fluid levels.
If your coolant needs topping up only use water, coolant is concentrated and adding extra coolant upsets the mix and can do harm. Customers always jump straight for the coolant bottle when looking to top up, but different types of coolant cannot be mixed, if two different types are mixed it can form a jelly inside the radiator and the cooling process stops. |
