What is Mazda Service Select and how does it work?

All new Mazda vehicles use a service program called Mazda Service Select. There are two parts to the program:

  1. Base Scheduled Maintenance is due every 10,000kms, or not longer than 12 months, whichever occurs first.
  2. Additional Scheduled Maintenance items are additional to Base Scheduled Maintenance, and are required when they fall due, either by the age of the vehicle or distance travelled, whichever occurs first.

When an Additional Scheduled Maintenance item is applicable, simply add the cost to the Base Scheduled Maintenance interval price to determine your total Service price.

At Hornsby Mazda, we understand everyone has different driving habits. That’s why we’ve changed our service scheduling to better suit you. From now on, your Mazda can be serviced according to how much you drive.

Convenience

We love to offer extra conveniences to make you happy. Express servicing means your vehicle can be serviced in 90 minutes. We offer a free shuttle service to and from Westfield Hornsby, Saturday servicing from 7.30am to 12.00pm by appointment and loan cars at insurance cost only. We are conveniently located a three-minute walk from Waitara Station with direct train service to the city.

Equipment & People Skills

The specialised tools and equipment at Hornsby Mazda are designed purely for your Mazda. Our technicians and service staff are up to date on all the latest technologies and insider information thanks to regular training and skills updating.

There are some things that can be only offered at Mazda Service centres. Things like the Mazda M-MDS System, a very high tech diagnostic computer-link developed by Mazda Motors Japan. It provides an instantaneous ‘health check’ to make sure your baby is running as it should. We also update your Mazda software with every service.

It goes without saying that we only use genuine Mazda parts when servicing your car. These parts carry a 2 Year/40,000 km warranty.
